Introduction

The Innovation Recovery Project operates http://www.mymentalhealthrecovery.com (the “Site”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of the Site.

We use your Personal Information only.

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information collected?

We only collect the information we need to.  The data collected will include demographic information namely, name, address, date of birth, gender, postcode / eircode (first 4 digits), email as well as contact details to allow for communication (subject to consent). 

How is it collected?

Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site (“log Data”).  This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. 

In addition we may use third party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyse this information.

Communications

We may use your Personal Information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information which you may find of benefit.

What do we do with your information?

We collect this information to:

  • Provide anonymised and aggregated monitoring data to show key details such as the number of participants who have benefitted from a particular intervention noting age, gender and geographic areas. 
  • Audit purposes.
  • Preparing statistics.

Who will my information be shared with?

This information will be shared with the Innovation Recovery Project Board, CAWT Management Board/Secretariat and the Special EU programmes Body (EU funders) for the duration of the Project (2025).

Will it be shared with anyone else?

There may be occasions where your information can be shared with other organisations without your consent but this will only happen when it is:

  • Required by law
  • Required by a court order
  • Necessary to protect the public from serious harm e.g., the protection of vulnerable adults.

Where necessary data will be anonymised before sharing with others.

How long will my information be retained for?

We will retain your information in line with specific guidance issued by the Department of Health in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.  You can ask staff or view the “Goods Management Good Records” section under “Disposal Schedule” on the Department of Health’s website.

Security of your information

The Security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure.  While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. 

Staff will only access your information on a strict “need to know” basis.  All staff have a legal duty to keep your information safe and confidential.  In line with legislation the Project and joint partners has a range of measures and strict standards to protect electronically held information.

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored on a dedicated Synergy Learning server.  All Totara Learn V13 hosting packages are hosted in the EU, Dublin (Equinix).

Changes To This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective as of 30 March 2021 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.

We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.

If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you either through the email address you have provided us, or by placing a prominent notice on our website.
